- Barthel’s Market & Creamery has over 60 ice cream flavors and serves lunch 7 days a week from 11 AM – 4 PM.
- Center for Bioregional Living has upcoming hands-on permaculture courses, including Whole Site Permaculture Design on May 27 and 28 from 10 AM – 4 PM.
- Clove Valley Community Farm’s annual plant sale is happening through Memorial Day Weekend. Stop by any Thurs. from 4 – 7 PM or Sat. and Sun. from 10 AM – 4 PM.
- Damn Good Honey Farm has a new cafe menu. They also have camp firewood for sale.
- Flying Change Farm has a new website.
- High Falls Hemp NY is offering 20% off sitewide through Memorial Day Weekend – use the code “MEMDAY”. They also offer tincture travel sizes.
- Hortus Arboretum & Botanical Gardens has a new website and a calendar of events. They are offering a Residency for Visual Artists from Aug. 21 – 28, for established and emerging artists.
- Hudson Valley Seed Co. has a new blog post about how you can attract pollinators to your garden, even with little space.
- Kelder’s Farm offers catch-and-release fishing (using your own equipment) for both day and season passes.
- Nicols Field Riding Club has “Playdate with a Pony” for kids aged 2 -7. A hands-on experience for 45-minutes of interactions with gently ponies.
- Ravenwood is presenting a showcase of visual delights on June 10 and 11 with local artists, local foods, drinks. This gathering is family-friendly and ALL are welcome. Space is limited so get your tickets.
- Sea Change Farm & Flower has a brand new farm stand, The Little Pink Flower House, at which you can buy bouquets every Fri. – Sun.
- Seed Song Farm & Center’s has a Compass Enrichment Homeschooling Program for students age 5-9. Their afterschool sessions are open through June 21 from 3 – 5:30 PM. They’re currently hiring: farm-based educators; camp coordinators; camp cook; bus driver; events assistant; and a site manager (grounds/handy-person).
- Spruce Run & Stony Ridge Farm is selling red, pink, and black currant bushes, which are one year old, produced on the farm, certified organic, and ready to plant. They also have a few gooseberry bushes.
- Stone Ridge Orchard is still accepting sign-ups for their summer CSA, offering sustainable fruit and organic vegetables, plus extras all from women-owned farms.
- Transgenerational Farm is having a plant sale on May 27 and 28 from 2 – 7 PM. They’ll have organically raised vegetable seedlings and potted dahlias.
