  • Catskill Native Nursery’s End-of-Summer Sale is underway and will end when they close for the season on Oct. 31.
  • Catskill Wagyu – Hilltop Farm’s Labor Day weekend hours are: Fri. 12 – 4 PM; Sat. 10 AM – 4 PM; Sun. 10 AM – 2 PM. They have a selection of steaks, roasts, short ribs, brisket, and their famous ground beef.
  • Davenport Farms carries a variety of seafood from Shawn’s Fresh Fish. And now is peak time for their homegrown cantaloupes and watermelons.
  • Dirt Dance Farm has QiGong on Friday mornings at  8 AM (open to all), and you can volunteer for harvest on Wed., Thurs., and Fri. from 9 AM – 12:30 PM. They also have Mahjong Club from 2-5 PM on the last Sun. of each month.
  • Ever Growing Family Farm is looking for volunteers to help weed.
  • Flowering Sun Ecology Center is hiring a full-time Mushroom Farm Operations Associate in Ellenville, NY. 
  • Gopal Farm NY has moved from New Paltz to Sprout Creek. You are welcome on weekends or weekdays to help with plantings, crop care, and the medicinal food forest that is beginning to take shape as part of their larger vision at Sprout Creek – email them to sign up.

  • Kelder’s Farm’s Flower Festival will end after Labor Day and their u-pick apples are available. They’ll be closed from Sept. 8 – 11.
  • Phillies Bridge Farm Project has volunteer days coming up: annual high tunnel flipping days Sept. 18 from 3 – 5 PM and Sept. 22 from 4 – 6 PM; and winter squash harvesting on Sept. 30.

  • Sugarshack Mushrooms’ farmstand will not be open this season, but you can sign up for their mushroom club and order what you want.
  • Tributary Farm is hosting Goomos Cafe again this year, serving all of your favorite drinks, cakes, cookies, carciofa, and focaccia (Weds. AM only around 11 AM). For now, pizza will be served only during member pickup — Weds. from 2 – 6 PM and Sat. from 10 AM – 2 PM.
