Each of our milking ladies were born on the farm and will live their entire life with us, our goats are never culled for meat production. Our artisan farmstead cheeses are made in small batches using vegetarian rennet and are suitable for vegetarians seeking to avoid animal rennet used in cheesemaking. Our cheeses are used by chefs throughout the region and our fresh ricotta won gold at the 2019 NYS Fair. You can pick apples, raspberries, blackberries, and pumpkins. Our farm store is filled with tons of local products including our organic produce, art from local artisans, our maple syrup, honey, jams, apple sauce, cider vinegars, and other non-local fair trade items. And once again this year we will be offering the opportunity to make your own organic apple cider….last year we had a blast and it was a huge success!!! Everything we grow at Westwind Orchard is CERTIFIED ORGANIC and we are located in Accord, NY, in the scenic Rondout Valley tucked between the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River Valley just 2 hours away from New York City.
