Hudson Soil Co. is a women-owned business founded in 2016 by Eileen Banyra to distribute premium compost produced by the Community Compost Company. Eileen established Community Compost Co. in 2013 with a mission to address food waste, combat climate change, and improve soil health through the power of composting.
Organic materials are collected from communities across the Hudson Valley, NY and Northern New Jersey, then transported to our facility in Kerhonkson, NY, where they are transformed into high-quality compost products. This process not only reduces environmental impact but also supports healthier plants and fosters more resilient, sustainable communities.
