Pollinator Picnic at Stone Ridge Orchard

The Stone Ridge Apple Orchard in collaboration with Contemporary abstract artist Michael Nighswonger invites you to come and experience one of the most unique presentations of art in the Hudson Valley Community.  20 pieces of Contemporary Art will be presented on 10” foot easels against the beautiful rolling landscape of the Stone Ridge Apple Orchard.  Michael’s works are dramatically large in scale and completely original in nature.  Each piece embarks on a deep exploration of lyrical abstractions capturing the essence of movement and imagination.  Michael’s works move past the theme of abstract and plunge deep into the powerful relationships of color possibility, celebrating the creation of abstract color language.

Join us for an afternoon nestled in the apple trees. Bring a blanket, dress in your favorite pollinator wings, grab a pizza and cider and picnic among the trees, beside our beloved pollinators and next to a jaw dropping art installation.

The exhibit will take place from 1-6PM with Live music in the tasting room from 3-5:30. Additionally join Elizabeth Ryan in the tasting room for a educational and informative discussion on Pollinators at 1:30PM.
