Chestnut Festival

We are thrilled to announce the second annual Chestnut Festival at the Stone Ridge Orchard in Stone Ridge NY on Nov.10th! We were completely overwhelmed with the turnout last year and are excited to bring on some additional vendors, educational booths and crew to help satisfy the nut crave. Try some roasted chestnuts, chestnut baked goods, hickory nut milk, American persimmon bread and other forest foods. There will be two nurseries selling fruit and nut trees, a mushroom farm selling and teaching about medical mushroom products, an educational display about indigenous food traditions in the Hudson valley and handful of other forest related booths and vendors. Come taste some forest foods and learn about forest farming and crafts from local farmers, growers and foresters on Nov. 10th from 12-5!
